1. Scope
This policy applies to the free Android version of Listto. The current version does not require an account, does not provide Listto cloud sync, does not show ads, and does not use analytics or advertising tracking SDKs.
If Listto adds accounts, sync, premium features, online collaboration, ads, analytics, or other services in the future, this policy will be updated before or when those features become available.
2. Data You Can Store In Listto
Listto stores locally on your device the content you choose to create in the app, including:
- List names.
- Tasks, products, and notes.
- Prices, quantities, measurement units, coupons, and discounts.
- States such as completed, unavailable, omitted, locked, pinned, or archived.
- Completed shopping history.
- Categories, colors, icons, and visual preferences.
- App preferences, such as language, currency, and default measurement unit.
- Reminder dates and technical calendar event references when you choose to create a reminder.
Listto does not require you to enter personal data to use the app. However, you may choose to include personal data in your lists or notes. That content remains under your control.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
In the current version, Listto does not collect or send to Listto servers:
- Real name, email, phone number, or address.
- Credentials, passwords, or session tokens.
- Advertising identifiers.
- GPS location.
- Contacts.
- Photos, camera, or microphone.
- Usage data for analytics.
- Data for advertising.
Listto does not sell your data.
4. Local Storage
Your list information is stored in the app's local database on your device. Listto does not provide its own cloud sync in this version.
You can delete lists, rows, or history from the app according to the available features. You can also remove Listto data from the operating system settings by uninstalling the app or clearing its data.
5. Calendar Permission And Reminders
Listto may request permission to access the device calendar when you choose to create a reminder for a list.
When you create a reminder, Listto may create, update, or delete an event in the device calendar. That event may include:
- The list title.
- The selected date and time.
- Notes related to the list.
- A calendar alert before the event.
Listto stores local technical references to the calendar and event so the app can update or delete the reminder later. Listto does not read your calendar events in bulk and does not send calendar information to Listto servers.
Your calendar provider, such as Google Calendar or another device calendar app, may process those events under its own policies.
6. List Export And Import
Listto lets you export your lists as a text file with JSON data. That file may include active and archived lists, tasks, products, notes, prices, quantities, coupons, discounts, and shopping history.
The exported file is not encrypted. If you choose to share it, save it in another app, or send it to another person, you are responsible for that action.
Listto also lets you import files generated by Listto. Before importing, the app validates the file and may ask for confirmation if you choose to add content or replace existing lists.
Real calendar event identifiers are not restored during import.
7. Clipboard And Sharing
Listto may copy text to the clipboard when you use actions such as copying a task, product, list, app version, or technical error detail.
Listto may also open the system share sheet so you can choose another app, such as email, messaging, or notes. The app or service you choose will receive the content you decide to share and will process it under its own policies.
8. External Links
Listto may open external links when you choose to:
- Contact support by email.
- View the Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions.
- Rate Listto on Google Play.
- Open the voluntary support link through PayPal.
When you open an external link, the browser, Google Play, PayPal, your email app, or another external service may process data under its own policies.
Voluntary PayPal support does not unlock premium features or digital benefits inside Listto.
9. Operating System Backup
Listto does not provide its own cloud sync or backup on Listto servers.
For version 1.0, Listto disables automatic app data backup through Android Auto Backup. This helps prevent Listto data from being automatically copied to an operating-system cloud backup by app decision.
Listto provides manual export so you can create your own backups when you choose.
10. Security
Listto aims to keep data handling limited to your device and to actions you start inside the app. Even so, no system can guarantee absolute security.
We recommend protecting your device with a screen lock and sharing exported files only with people or services you trust.
11. Minors
Listto is not directed to minors and is not designed specifically for children. If you are a minor, use Listto only with permission and supervision from your parent or legal guardian, as applicable in your jurisdiction.
12. Your Choices
You can:
- Use Listto without creating an account.
- Refuse calendar permission; in that case, you will not be able to create calendar reminders from the app.
- Edit or delete your lists and items.
- Export your lists whenever you want to keep a copy.
- Uninstall the app or clear its data from Android.
- Contact us with privacy-related questions.
13. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Listto's features, services, legal requirements, or data practices change.
When a change is relevant, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you inside the app or in the store listing.
